How To Make easy shrimp pasta recipes healthy?


  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • ½ cup of heavy cream (in the UK double cream )
  • ½ cup of parmesan grated
  • ¼ cup of fresh parsley chopped
  • 8 oz (225g) of linguine pasta
  • olive oil 1 tablespoon 
  • 1 pound (450g) of raw shrimp, frozen, peeled, and deveined shrimp
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of Old bay seasoning optional, or smoked paprika, or cajun
  • 1 tablespoon of butter


Boil water and salt it in a medium-sized saucepan. And add your pasta, then cook according to the package instructions until al dente. 

And when the pasta is cooked, make sure to reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and drain the pasta.

Then melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, and add olive oil. Cook the shrimp for a minute, then season with salt, and pepper, then Old Bay Seasoning or paprika if using.

Continue to cook the shrimp until it’s pink. Then do this in batches if you’re worried you may overcook the shrimp. And remove the shrimp onto a plate then set aside.

And melt butter In the same pan,  and add garlic, cook for 30 seconds, or until it’s fragrant. Then add the heavy cream, then with the spatula deglaze the pan.

And add parmesan, then let it melt then loosen the sauce with reserved pasta water then allow it to simmer for one minute. 

Make sure to taste the sauce and see if more pepper and salt are needed.

Then toss the pasta with the sauce until it’s well coated. And add the shrimp back in to reheat it gently, then garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
