Crock Pot BBQ Beef Roast
Making Slow Cooker Shredded Beef on hand for recipes throughout the week has to be one of my favourite things ever.
Well, that and making slow cooker chicken for the same purpose. But, having shredded beef stocked in the refrigerator just makes life easier. And thankfully, it doesn’t take much thought, time, or energy on my part.
How To Make Crock Pot BBQ Beef Roast
Ingredient
- 2 – 2 1/2 lb. of beef chuck roast
- 1/4 C. of BBQ sauce
- 1/4 C. of ketchup
- 2 T. of light brown sugar
- 1/4 C. of apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. of dry mustard
- 1 T. of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. of chilli powder
Instructions
Place the roast in the crock pot, and slice in half if using a 4 qt. crock pot.
And whisk together the remaining ingredients then pour over the roast.
Then cook on low for 6 hours. And remove the roast and shred it with two forks (it just falls apart), place it in a serving dish and ladle some of the juice over the top before serving.
