Baked Chicken Wings – Extra Crispy
These are delicious!! Just follow the recipe exactly as written and your wings will be crispy outside juicy inside and flavored perfectly. Seriously, if you are looking to make some addictive and crave-worthy wings, you're in the right place!! This is a keeper for sure
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings (tips removed, separated into wingettes and drumettes)
- 1 Tbsp BAKING POWDER (whatever you do, do NOT use baking soda)
- 1-2 tsp kosher salt (plus more to taste)
- Favorite Buffalo wing sauce for tossing or serving on the side (Otherwise, use a mix of favorite hot wing sauce and BBQ sauce)
DIRECTIONS:
- preheat oven to 450F
- Using a paper towel, dry well chicken then places the wings in a large bowl. Sprinkle baking powder over the wings. Toss until all wings are evenly covered in baking powder.
- Next, line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil then avoid sticking by placing a cooling rack on top and sprayng with Pam or rubbing with cooking oil.
- Now lay the chicken wings on the rack and make sure to leave space between the wings.
- Then please place the baking sheet in the oven, turning the heat down to 425F; set the mode to convection.
- Bake until the wings are nicely browned and crisp, about 30 to 40 minutes.
- Finally, be sure to serve hot, tossed in Buffalo sauce or with the sauce on the side.
